New stadium in Aarhus
When order is more important than tonnage
The construction of the new stadium in Aarhus is a project at the heavy end. Not only in kilos and tons, but in coordination, sequences and collaboration.
Here, several cranes worked simultaneously in a construction process where timing and planning were crucial.
Joint lifting of 57 tons of beams
A central part of the project was the installation of 57 tons of crocodile beams.
The solution was a joint effort with:
450 ton mobile crane
400 ton mobile crane
Two cranes. One movement. Full control.
The order before the promise
Before the crocodile beams could be installed, beams were lifted in with a 300-ton crane, which created the foundation for further assembly.
Subsequently, the project has included, among other things:
300 ton crane for element assembly
180 ton crane for installing steel for roofing
90 ton crane with vacuum lift for L-elements under the stands
Each phase required precise planning and close coordination between all parties involved.
More than heavy lifting
A stadium project is not just about capacity.
It is about:
The right crane at the right time
A sequence that keeps the schedule
Safe execution in all aspects
When several cranes work in the same sequence, overview is just as important as lifting capacity.
New stadium in Aarhus is taking shape.
We are helping to put it in place.
