At BMS, we are more than a workplace – we are a team. We set high standards for ourselves and each other because we know that this creates the best results.
That's why we invest in our employees with ongoing training and development, so that you are always strong in your work.
Here you will be part of a team where responsibility, commitment and credibility are crucial. We work solution-oriented with a focus on quality, and we believe that the best results are created together.
Do you want to be part of a workplace where you are valued, develop your skills and have the opportunity to make a difference? Then BMS is the place for you.
Our staff association, Hejseværket, has brought together colleagues from all over the country since 1996 for social activities for employees and their families.
Hejseværket has almost 400 members and is behind two large, nationwide events every year: a general meeting with dinner, entertainment and accommodation - as well as a cozy summer trip for the whole family.
In addition, there are local events such as go-karting, fishing trips and tours - often arranged by committed members.
The staff association also marks anniversaries such as birthdays, anniversaries and retirements with a greeting - and thus creates a presence across BMS.
As a new employee, you quickly become part of the social community – and that is exactly what Hejseværket is all about.
At BMS, our work isn't just about heavy lifting and precision – it's also about people. Here, it goes without saying that we take the time to share our passion, both in the job and with those we meet along the way.
When we met Cooper, an 8-year-old boy with a great fascination for cranes, it was natural for us to invite him into our world. A helmet, a ride in the crane and a chat about machines made a huge difference for him – and for us.
We celebrate the moments when our work inspires others, and we are inspired ourselves. When a young boy like Cooper dreams of becoming a part of BMS, we know we are doing something right. And who knows? Maybe we will see him as a colleague one day.
Many of our employees have been here for decades, and we celebrate several 10th and 25th anniversary anniversaries every year. It's no coincidence. We offer a workplace where talented people thrive, develop and can see a future.
When an employee like Poul retires after 53 years at BMS, we think it says something about the workplace we are. We are proud to have an environment where employees stay for many years because they thrive and see a future here. Experience means a lot to us, and we appreciate those who contribute to both the company and the community every day.
It wasn't just us who appreciated Poul. When he retired, he received over 200 personal greetings from customers, suppliers, partners and colleagues – a testament to the relationships that are created through a long working life at BMS.
"When I started at BMS, I drove a 150tm truck crane – today it's a 165tm. I have also replaced both 200tm and 250tm and taken a mobile crane certificate, so I have tried a bit of everything. I also act as a mentor for new colleagues and participate in evaluating students.
Challenges motivate me. I especially enjoy helping our boxers – it's rewarding to be someone you trust when space is tight.
Safety comes naturally to us. I never do anything that is not safe – and neither do my colleagues. It is simply in our DNA. We are happy to take five extra minutes to do it right. Things are under control here, and we take good care of both the equipment and each other.
I haven't had a sick day in 37 years – that probably says something about the place."
"It motivates me that no two days are the same and that I have contact with so many different people – both customers, drivers and colleagues from all over the country. Even though I sit away from my team, I experience a very strong community and I look forward to coming to my physical workplace every day.
I love working with our skilled drivers and in general I have some fantastic colleagues who are always ready to help and share knowledge - this means that together we can give the customer the best possible experience.
After a few years away, I have returned to BMS, and I get to share my experience from the lift department, while developing myself. It is a privilege to be part of a company with a strong history – and at the same time to contribute to the future of an organization that is constantly growing and developing."
"We make a virtue of creating a good and pleasant workplace – even with small breaks, so that it's not just about cranes and trucks. When new people start, we do a lot to ensure that they quickly feel like part of the team.
As a manager, I am passionate about an everyday life where we have a good time together and deliver top-class service and quality.
BMS' history gives us something to live up to – but also inspires us to develop and give customers the best equipment and the best experience.
I believe that if you know your employees' strengths, you can also help them grow. There is always something new to learn – and it makes us better, both individually and as a team.
My hope is that new colleagues experience the same thing I did 25 years ago: that things are in order here, there is room for fun – and far more opportunities than you think."
