Birdie at the water tower

The mobile crane Birdie was on site at the water tower in Hollands Gård in Nykøbing Falster, where loose roof tiles and mortar had to be handled at height.

The area needed to be secured before Madens Folkemøde, where many people would be moving through the streets around the water tower. That called for a solution that gave safe access to the roof.

Birdie lifted the personnel basket up to the roof, allowing the craftsmen to get close to the areas where the loose parts were located. From there, the roof could be secured and the risk of falling material handled.
